Sixth Grade Camp 2011: Camp Heartland...

     All of the sixth grade students within the Bowling Green School District took a trip to Camp Heartland this spring. We headed out for our five day adventure in late March. Camp Heartland is located in Marengo, Ohio- about 2 hours south of Bowling Green. Students stayed in cabins at night, and enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities during the day. Every one of my students came back with a smile on their face, and memories they will cherish for a lifetime. I know I can say the same for myself, as well. It was such an incredible experience, and a great opportunity for me to bond with my students in such a way that would be nearly impossible to achieve within the walls of my classroom.
