Vision for sharing student work...

Within the curriculum, I incorporate multiple learning and teaching styles in order to respond to my students' diversity. In my classroom, learning is a social activity that will incorporate a variety of methods that will encourage communication, enhance listening skills, develop reading strategies and support exploration. Encouraging student involvement is key. Hands-on exploration is one of the greatest ways for students to learn, as they are actively involved in their education. Active learning is a main focus in my classroom, by giving my students the opportunity to lead class discussions and presentations, as well as everyday classroom activities. There are many math and science activities I utilize that focus on student-led group exploration in order to facilitate a deeper understanding of the curriculum.

My students are expected to give their best effort, and take pride in their work. Therefore, I am excited to display their efforts and accomplishments through a classroom portfolio.
